What is a yeast infection

A yeast infection is a fungal infection caused by the mutation of the Candida Albicans yeast that lives in all of us. It’s only when one of your natural defenses is compromised that the harmless yeast mutates into an aggressive fungus, and then starts causing your symptoms.
